I just love the verbal storytelling style so much, it really feels like he is talking.

One of my favorites ! Have often though about re-reading but then I get sidetracked...

Miles just tells it the way it is and its completely raw.

Years ago when I read this, alot of his comments and opinions (some far from praising) on some of his other contemporaries made me re-think and gain perspective on these artists that otherwise would have not been possible.
