Does anyone even remember the time when cameras were not allowed into concerts?

Well, that sort of went the way of the dodo.... LOL!

I have to ration my time at YouTube in case I end up wasting a whole day trawling through it... It's a wonderful thing to have, particularly if you weren't able to attend the concert or find the video to buy, but - as FK hints - ethical questions are raised...

In the spirit of being a good hypocrite, here's a few of my favourites:

Record Making with Duke Ellington

Ain't No Sunshine

(There's a lot of footage from the Old Grey Whistle Test btw - worth a search)

The Incomparable Curtis

Confusion

Thanks for the link. Saw this documentary (Vinyl (by Alan Zweig)) in a theater here, and it was pretty entertaining. Have others here seen it?

Having said that, it also bugs me that youtube seems to carry copyrighted material. Would such a popular site exist if this were music?

Don't you Worry bout a thing

Unless my eyes deceive me, that looks like an ARP 2600 in the background! You don't see them on the road too often nowadays!

Jersey big hair-mania.

Hafta read the explanation on the link page to understand the disconnect between music and image, but anyways...

I loved this show in high school--it just held an odd fascination and one summer I watched it constantly. Must say, the guy's replacement of the music suits it.

I love it! We don't get it on TV in Japan (it'd be a nightmare to try and translate and I'm not sure the humour would work in Japanese) but I found the whole series on YouTube! I'm recovering from a slipped disc at the moment, so it's keeping me amused until I can get out and about again.

How'd it go down in the UK?

What are you trying to say James? Shocked Laughing

Seriously, I'm a huge Alan Partridge fan. I've got all the DVDs here and today was my last day at work before my summer holiday so thanks for reminding me... time to watch them again!
