Here's a short and sweet 5 Tricks and Treats about lingerie and lingerie fittings.
One
A bad fitting bra can cause cancer?
MYTH - There is no medical proof stating that this is facts and should not be used a scare monger tactic to make you get a fitting.
TRUTH - If you are suffering from bad back pain and shoulder pain, in some circumstances this can be down to a incorrect fitting bra due to the band being too loose on your diaphragm and the cups being too small for your bust.

A good bra measurement is done ONLY by tape?
MYTH - This isn't true there is many different ways to measure your bust accurately. Most people who work in the industry find that a tape doesn't have the stretch a band on a bra would so it would not give the right reading.
TRUTH - If you feel more comfortable being measured by tape that's completely down to your individual needs, however most in the industry measure by eye, especially if they have more than four years of measuring under there belt, they can tell the type of style you would need, whats wrong with the band, cup, straps etc...however this all down to your personal preference and I do believe there is an active community who swear by the bust calculator however that would only be for certain shops as not all stores do double sizes or are manufactured the same.

One Size fits in ALL shops and Brands??
MYTH - This is inaccurate as all stores have different manufacturing processes as well as components to there bras.
TRUTH - When you are measured by a certain store or online calculator, this does not mean you will be the same every where you go, if you use your new sizing as a guideline to lingerie it can take some of the stress out of it.

White bras are PERFECT under white tops!!
MYTH - If the material is thick enough this can be possible however in 80% of cases it is incorrect and it can show under your clothes really prominent.
TRUTH - There is now more of a colour range out there in the industry that will go under white so much better such as a blush, neutral and even red! Red balances out your skin tone and doesn't show

When being fitted, you MUST take off your bra!
MYTH- This has been circulating for years! it basically means that who ever is fitting you just stares at your bust and then you feel criticised and embarrassed even judged for this.
TRUTH- This is not true!!!!!! I repeat!!! NOT TRUE!! As a lingerie stylist I measure by eye, by the bra your wearing, then adjust accordingly to what you would be in my store.
Hello. This is not the first time I've read that choosing the wrong bra size can cause breast cancer. But it turns out that this is not so. I read this article and immediately wanted to buy harness lingerie. Do you think this MarieMur store is suitable for such purposes? Thanks to all.
BTW, Everything that you described, all these myths because even the sellers in the store use this information to convince you to make a purchase. What is this marketing ploy? Thank you all in advance for your answers.
