They're everywhere here...
...Pioneer mixers, that is.
Is there a better way to get dubby reverb/delay effects--I mean where the effect continues to tail off after the signal feeding it is removed--than running a y-cable from the headphone cue to effects box to mixer channel?
I really hate when reverb and delay is set up like an insert effect instead.

The only thing is to physically switch the input on the mixer to the other position, then the delay rings as long as the fader is still open. Obviously pretty crude and brutal.
Pioneer was never a fan of real send and return architecture....
Had so many meetings with them about it over the years that I just gave up and don't even bring it up anymore.
And when someone is the market leader, it's obviously difficult to tell them that their approach could be changed.... LOL

I brought up the same argument so many times with their support team and never got anywhere. I still use the crude method of either switching the input channel, or simply stop the track playing (if it's the end) but leave the fader channel open to continue the delay. |

The only thing I've noticed is that it'll be way more expensive. |
